Which of these games is scariest in order and why?

F.E.A.R, Doom 3, Fatal Frame 2, Resident Evil 1, Silent Hill Series, Dead Space, Clocktower, Bioshock 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead and Luigi's Mansion.Which of these games is scariest in order and why?
From most scary to least scary starting with most

Silent Hill

Clocktower

Fatal Frame 2

F.E.A.R.

Resident Evil 1

Left 4 Dead

Bioshock 1

Luigi's Mansion

(I never played Doom 3 OR Dead Space OR Bioshock 2 so I'm not sure about those)
From least scary to scariest. I'll only rank the ones I know.

L4D

Left4Dead isn't really a scary game XD It's tons of fun, but it's just shooting zombies. The fun comes in the intricate teamwork, not in the horror.

RE1:

It's scary in that it's startling, and it may creep you out a bit. I would play it more for the story and characters than the horror aspect, though.

F.E.A.R

It's not that scary, I don't think. It's mostly ghostly images. There are some freaky things, but I found myself laughing them off.

Bioshock

Meh, they were kind of scary. Bioshock had good atmosphere, but it's only scary when you start playing. Not too long into the game, it's not scary. That's only due to the sheer easiness of the game. Bishock 2 had a lot of really cool little things where enemies would trick you and pop up out of unexpected places, but it lost a lot of the atmosphere because it had a lot of brightly lit places to show off the pretty graphics. You also have to swallow a story that's not nearly as good as the first one, and it is way too easy.

Doom 3

Doom 3 is pretty scary for a good while, but it kind of loses that as some of the monsters become utterly ridiculous. It's not scary when you play online, but by yourself, it can be pretty tense.

According to my sister, Doom 1 is actually a pretty scary game.

Silent Hill

The Silent Hill series, excluding the last few games a bit, is terrifying. I haven't played Silent Hill 1, and Silent Hill 3 was definitely creepy in its weird effects and that amusement park, but Silent Hill 2 is the scariest. It's scary because you play as a man who has mental issues of his own, and you have to walk around the foggy streets with only a pipe and a radio. That doesn't even include all the messed up characters you encounter along the way.

I have a friend who said Luigi's Mansion is scary, but I don't know about that one XD

If you're looking for a game with a lot of tense atmosphere, look for Thief Gold and Thief 2:The Metal Age. Thief is a first person stealth game, and pulls off stealth the best of any game I've seen. It's loads of fun to play, but gets written off because of the outdated graphics. By the time you're trying to kill the devil, it gets pretty tense. Thief 2 isn't so much about the Ghosts and Zombies that were in the first game, but it does have the thrill of sneaking around in crazy situations.

Thief: Deadly Shadows is a game available on Steam. I would say it falls short of the first 2 games, but if you stick with it until you get to the mission called The Cradle, you will experience one of the scariest game levels ever. The atmosphere, sound, and music is just perfect.Which of these games is scariest in order and why?

1.F.E.A.R

F.E.A.R., I'm not a fan of being startled...Which of these games is scariest in order and why?
Dead Space by far. Don't play that after 12am you'll have nightmares.
